A battery-only service on a quartz Longines is $30. Polishing adds $100 and needs at least a partial service with it.
Demagnetizing and a rate check are free. Vintage calibers made before 1990 are quoted individually, and replacement parts beyond the routine ones are charged separately.

Longines or an independent?
Longines' prices are low for a Swiss brand, so the usual saving at an independent is small. Most Longines automatics use ETA-based calibers that any watchmaker can service, but Longines parts and a 24-month warranty for $380 make the brand hard to beat.
