Nestor Watch Repair is a one-man operation run by Jose Cuenquijano, who has been at this since 1991. The shop, located in the Imperial Shopping Center on 9th Street in Imperial Beach, handles the everyday repair work most people need: battery replacement, bracelet sizing, crystal replacement, and case polishing and cleaning that comes standard with each job.

On the brand side, the shop works on Casio, Caravelle by Bulova, Citizen Eco-Drive and general quartz watches, and also takes on vintage repair. There's an on-site watchmaker, so work is done in-house rather than sent out. A battery replacement runs around $10, and the price tier here is low, in line with a neighborhood repair counter rather than a boutique service center.

Beyond watches, the shop also sells vintage jewelry and sterling silver pieces — necklaces, earrings, pendants — alongside its watch selection, so it functions partly as a small jewelry counter too.

Hours are limited but consistent: open 10am to 3pm Monday through Friday, and a shorter Saturday morning slot from 9:30 to 1pm. Closed Sundays.
