Fixology Jewelry, Watch, and Smartphone Repair

Fixology is a jewelry, watch and smartphone repair shop on the Skyway level of the Gaviidae Common building in downtown Minneapolis, with an on-site watchmaker handling the timepiece side of the business.

Work covers the usual range a wristwatch owner needs: battery replacement, full service and overhaul, case and bracelet polishing, crystal replacement, bracelet sizing, and water resistance (pressure) testing after a case is opened or a gasket replaced. The shop services brands across the spectrum, explicitly listing Timex through Rolex, and says it is also an authorized Rolex service center, though that claim comes from the shop itself and isn't something we've independently verified.

Because Fixology also does general jewelry repair (ring sizing, cleaning, stone matching) and phone repair, it functions as a one-stop counter rather than a dedicated watchmaker's bench, which can be convenient if a watch and a piece of jewelry both need attention on the same visit.

The shop is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and closed weekends. It's located at 651 Nicollet Mall, Suite 247, inside the skyway system, which makes it easy to reach on foot from other downtown offices and stores without going outside.
