Jeweler with a watchmaker
Gold Nugget watch & Jewelry Repair
A San Antonio jeweler on W Commerce St that also handles battery swaps, full movement service and bracelet sizing for watches.
Gold Nugget is a jewelry store in the Edgewood area of San Antonio that keeps a watchmaker on staff, so it covers both jewelry work and watch repair under one roof. On the watch side, the shop handles battery replacements, bracelet sizing and full service and overhaul work, meaning it can take a movement apart, clean it, and put it back together rather than just swapping parts.
No specific watch brands are listed for the shop, so it's worth calling ahead if you have a particular make in mind, especially anything with a sealed case or proprietary tools. There's no indication of pricing or typical turnaround times on file, so those are details to confirm by phone before dropping a watch off.
The shop is on W Commerce Street and is reachable by phone; there's no website listed, so a call is the most direct way to ask questions or set up a visit. Hours run Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 5pm, with shorter Saturday hours from 11am to 3pm, and the shop is closed Sundays and Mondays. As with any repair stop, bringing the watch itself (and any extra links or the original box if you have them for sizing jobs) will help the watchmaker give you a clearer answer on the spot.
