Gold Buyers of Texas

Gold Buyers of Texas is primarily a gold, silver and estate jewelry buyer in Corpus Christi, but it also has two bench jewelers on premises who handle watch battery replacements and general repair work. The shop is GIA certified for jewelry work.

Watches come up mainly through the Rolex side of the business: staff offer free estimates on Rolex watches and estate jewelry, and the shop buys pre-owned Rolex pieces. The shop says it is a Rolex authorized service center, though that claim can't be independently verified here, so it's worth confirming directly with them what Rolex service work they can actually perform versus purchase or estimate.

The store is set up more like a traditional jewelry and precious-metals counter than a dedicated watchmaker's bench, with a focus on gold, silver and platinum bullion, estate jewelry, and sterling silver pieces alongside the watch and repair services. It's located at 4522 Weber Rd #108 in Corpus Christi and is open Monday through Saturday, with shorter hours on Saturday and closed Sundays.

For anything beyond a battery swap or a Rolex estimate, such as movement servicing or parts work on other brands, it's best to call ahead and ask specifically what the on-site jewelers can handle.
