Watch Almanac

The best Bulova watches

Bulova has a long American history, from the first radio advertisement for a watch to the Accutron tuning-fork watch and the chronograph worn on the Moon in 1971. Today it's owned by Citizen and sells mostly quartz.

Its Precisionist quartz vibrates at 262 kHz, eight times faster than a standard quartz watch, for a sweeping seconds hand and better accuracy.
