Lorier
Lorier is a watch brand based in New York City, founded in 2017 by the husband-and-wife team Lorenzo and Lauren Ortega. The brand takes its inspiration from mid-20th-century watches, when watches were everyday instruments rather than status symbols, and its stated principles are design, "performance over prestige" and making watches to be worn.
The current lineup is small: the Neptune dive watch (200 m water resistance), the Falcon field watch, the Astra everyday watch and the Hyperion, a GMT with an independently adjustable hour hand. All use Miyota automatic movements (the 9039, or the 9075 in the Hyperion) and sapphire crystals. Prices on Lorier's US store in October 2026 were $699 for the Neptune, Falcon and Astra and $799 for the Hyperion. On sizing, the Falcon and Astra are 36 mm, and the Neptune and Hyperion are 39 mm cases with 37 mm bezels.
