Islander

Islander is the house brand of Long Island Watch, a New York-based online watch retailer that Marc Frankel founded in 2003. Frankel launched Islander in 2019. Its early models were dive watches meant to fill the gap left when Seiko discontinued its popular SKX series.

The range has since grown to more than 200 models, covering dive watches, GMTs and everyday watches. Islander uses Japanese movements: the Greenport, for example, uses a Miyota 8205, and the JFK GMT uses the Seiko NH34 automatic GMT calibre. Prices are generally just above $300; in a January 2025 review, the Greenport was listed at $325, and Port Jefferson skin divers were listed at $529 on Long Island Watch's store in October 2026.
