Baltic
Baltic is a French watch brand founded in 2016 by Etienne Malec. The name refers to his father's roots on the northern coast of Poland; Malec says his interest in watches began with his father's collection and the diary he kept of every watch he owned. Baltic sells mainly direct to consumers, which it says lets it cut the traditional retail margin.
The company is open about where its watches are made: most components are produced in Hong Kong, the watches are assembled and adjusted at its workshop in Besançon, France, and straps are also made in France. The range covers dive watches such as the Aquascaphe family (including GMT, bronze and titanium versions), plus field, classic and chronograph watches. On its own store in October 2026, watch prices ran from €385 to €1,635.
