Boldr

Boldr (styled BOLDR, trading as Boldr Supply Co.) is based in Singapore and traces its start to 2015, when founder Leon Leong ran a Kickstarter for the Voyage, a hybrid smartwatch. That campaign was withdrawn and backers were refunded; the first production collection, the Journey, followed in 2016 using a Seiko meca-quartz movement instead of electronics.

The brand sells mainly direct to consumer, and a PayPal case study reports that 70 to 80 percent of its customers are in the United States. Current lines are outdoor and tool watches: the Venture titanium field watches (including the Field Medic, with a Seiko VK64 meca-quartz chronograph), the Odyssey divers, the Expedition and the 40mm steel Safari, introduced in 2023. WatchGecko lists the range at £299 to £899, and Venture models start at US$299.
